Bookstore, Coffee Shop Coming Soon to Downtown McKenzie

McKENZIE — McKenzie will soon have a bookstore/coffee shop combination at 55 Broadway in downtown McKenzie.
David Jacobs announced Happy Book Stack is located in mid-2025 in the former Urban Trading building, located at the corner of Broadway and Cedar Street. Jacobs operates a bookstore in Murfreesboro.
The bookstore will feature new and older titles, 6,000 pop(ular) fiction books, homeschool books, and books for students of all ages.
The Happy Book Stack welcomes book clubs to the business.
In November 2024, downtown McKenzie welcomed Premier Furniture and Bedding in Union City and Jackson in the former Williams Furniture location. And, just recently, Congetta’s Chi-talian Favorites foods opened at 41 Broadway. It offers Chicago-Style Italian street food.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items.
