Annual Cancer Bake Auction is This Week
From the Mar 31, 2026 e-EditionCARROLL COUNTY — The annual radio broadcast of the Relay for Life American Cancer Society Bake Auction is March 30 to April 3 on WHDM radio and at the McKenzie Church of Christ.
The multi-decade auction features baked goods and other items from area residents. Also, big board items will be auctioned on Friday.
This year’s auction is dedicated to the memory of Sherrye Washburn, who served as chairman for many years.
The auction can be heard on WHDM radio 98.9 FM or 1440 AM between the hours of 1-4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
