Carroll Arts Creativity Camp is Next Week
From the Jun 30, 2026 e-EditionMcKENZIE — Carroll Arts, Inc. hosts its annual Creativity Camp Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Highland Drive from 1-4 p.m. daily.
Elementary and middle school students from Carroll County are invited to attend.
Each day of the camp includes activities in music, art, creative writing and drama.
Instructors for the camp are McKenzie Elementary music teacher Joanna Turner, Clarksburg art teacher Leann Edwards, retired teacher Marlene Kreuter (creative writing) and retired teachers Denise Sam and Glynda Rich (drama).
Snacks will be provided daily.
The camp concludes with a Celebration of the Arts on Friday at 3 p.m. Families are invited to see what the kids have learned and created.
Enrollment in the camp is $40 per child. For families enrolling more than one child, the fee for each additional enrollee after the first is reduced to $35.
