Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Accepting Applications for 2026 Adult Leadership Carroll County
From the Jul 28, 2026 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (July 27, 2026) — The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce announces that applications are now open for the 2026 Adult Leadership Carroll County (LCC) class. This premier program offers participants an in-depth look at the life, work, and future of Carroll County.
LCC is a comprehensive program consisting of nine engaging sessions and a hands-on community service project, designed to identify the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing our county in the coming years.
Natalie Porter, Chair of the LCC program, said, “The goal of the Leadership Carroll County program is to provide participants with information about the life and work of Carroll County and to identify the issues, challenges, and opportunities that our county will face in the coming years.”
Program Schedule
All sessions run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- ● Session 2: September 3
- ● Session 3: September 10
- ● Session 4: September 24
- ● Session 5: October 8
- ● Session 6: October 22
- ● Session 7: November 5
- ● Session 8: November 19
- ● Session 9: January (Joint LCC/YLCC session)
- Application and Tuition
- The deadline for applications is August 14, 2026. The program tuition is $325.00, which includes all program costs and meals associated with the sessions. Tuition is payable upon confirmation of acceptance into the program.

- Since its inception in 1990, the program has graduated approximately 1,100 individuals, many of whom have gone on to serve in vital business, civic, and government roles. Participation offers a unique opportunity to network with fellow community leaders, presenters, and business professionals.
