Central Routs Henry County, 10-3
From the Apr 14, 2026 e-EditionBRUCETON (April 10) — The Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers hosted Henry County Friday for a softball contest. A big second inning for Central sealed a 10-3 victory.
Central struck first with six runs in the bottom of the second. The Lady Patriots plated one in the top of the third, but the Lady Tigers answered with three in the home half. Each team scored a run in the sixth, and Henry County added one in the seventh.
Lady Tiger Abby Baker was 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and one run scored. Amelia Bennett was 1-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored. Lilly McGee was 2-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and a run scored. Madison Holder was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Cloe Morgan was 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Kyleigh Baker was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Lady Patriot Breely Pierpoint was 1-for-3 with a home run. Reed Jackson was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Lillian Eaton and Lilly Steele were each 1-for-3 with an RBI. Jaden Wilson was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Amelia Watkins was 1-for-3. Irelynn Beecham was 1-for-4.
Madison Holder earned the complete-game win for Central, allowing three earned runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out one.
Lillian Eaton took the loss for Henry County, allowing nine runs (six earned) on six hits while walking three and striking out three in three innings. Lilly Steele pitched the final three frames, allowing one earned run on three hits and a walk.
