HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Mr. Charles Kenneth “Kenny” Rush, 84, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Life Care Center.
Funeral services are at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother James Keen and Brother Lynn Stapleton will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
Mr. Rush was born August 21, 1941, to the late Gaylon Rush and Mary Sue Gooch Rush. He was a deacon and member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church and a longtime electrician. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Rush.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Nancy Rush of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two sons David Lynn ( Tonyia) Rush of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Charles K “Ken” (Emily) Rush of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters Susan Sanders and Jane Meggs, both of Huntingdon, Tennessee and, two brothers, Ralph(Wanda) Rush of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Michael (Sandy) Rush of Henderson, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Rush; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Ingram of Richmond, Virginia, Rebecca Hardeman and Robin Rush ,both of Lexington, Kentucky.
Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 731-986-8281.
