He was born September 24, 1952, to the late Billy Sanders and Peggy S. McIver.
He is survived by two sons, John L. (Kim) Sanders and Jeremy (Laura) Sanders, both of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister, Susie (Tommy) Townsend of Huntingdon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Leigh S. (Clay) Pinson, Leslie Sanders, Lindsey Sanders, Lillian Sanders, Courtney Sanders and Mason Sanders; great-grandchildren, Darcy Pinson and Esther Anderson; two step-grandsons, Dakota (Hannah) Anderson and Christian Bryant.
