Christmas With Renaissance

McKENZIE (December 7) — Approximately 3,000 people attended the four performances of Bethel University’s Renaissance on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 5-7. Actors, musicians, and vocalists provided a dynamic performance to kick off the Christmas season.
Bethel’s Christmas with Renaissance is a tradition with members of the audience coming year after year to enjoy the highly talented performers.
Inside the Bouldin Auditorium on the Bethel campus, performers in the band, Bluegrass Quartet, Renaissance Theatre, Renaissance Choir, and a special treat provided by the percussionist delighted audiences.
The magic of Christmas was truly exhibited through the talents of Bethel University’s Renaissance.

New Portrait of Hal Holbrook Unveiled at The Dixie PAC
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — The legacy of the late actor Hal Holbrook has been immortalized in a new oil portrait, unveiled Wednesday, August 19, at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center. The painting, created by artist and former art professor Lindon Noe, now hangs in the Center, serving as a companion piece to an existing portrait of Holbrook’s wife, the late Dixie Carter-Holbrook.

McKenzie School Board to Install New Members
