From the Dec 23, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Dorothy Scott, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Monday, December 15, 2025, at Harmony Hill Assisted Living.
Funeral services are in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Josh Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Scott was born February 11, 1935, to the late Dale Lipscomb Moore and Lela Arville (Vaughn) Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Scott Jr., a sister, Jennie Barnett, and a brother, Bobby Moore.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Merritt of Lexington, a son, Roger Scott of Lexington, three sisters, Ann Butler (Edward) of Bruceton, Barbara Clifton of Huntingdon, Shirley Dennison of Huntingdon, a brother, Emmit Moore (Phyllis) of Rockford, Illinois, two grandchildren, Libby Hargrove (Brent) of Santa Fe, Tennessee, Travis Ledsinger of Lexington, two great-grandchildren, Benton Hargrove and Lily Mae Hargrove.
