Easter Kindness In Action

McKENZIE (April 4) — Paris resident John Paul Jones visited Cherrywood Post Acute Saturday afternoon to share Easter cheer. He arrived at the nursing home with a basket of assorted eggs -– some real, hand-painted eggs and some plastic eggs containing candy — to share with residents.

Jones, a former McKenzie resident and a Webb School alum, said, “I’ve been blessed, and I want to give back.”

Jones walked into residents’ rooms, announcing, “Uh, oh! Uh oh! The Easter Bunny’s coming to see you!” among other variations of “Happy Easter!” before presenting residents with an Easter egg or two.

The Easter visit was well-received by residents, who matched Jones’ cheer with high spirits of their own.
