McKENZIE — Mr. Freddie Moon, 69, of McKenzie, Tennessee died Friday, August 28, 2026 at his residence.

Freddie was born January 9, 1957, in Kenton, Tennessee, to the late Floyd Moon and Annie Kate Moon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Jr. Moon and Frankie Moon; one sister, Gladys.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Moon; one daughter, Christie (Trey Mitchell) Smothers; two sons, James (Amanda) Moon and Richard (Misty) Moon; one sister, Linda Forrest; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Freddie was a loving man who cared deeply for his family.
