From the Jul 15, 2025 e-EditionMCKENZIE, Tenn. — There will be a gathering of friends and family for Gary Wayne Stanley, Jr. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Stanley, 55 years old, passed away at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital on July 7, 2025. He worked on the maintenance crew at Walmart for several years. He was born in Santa Cruz, California, on September 30, 1969, to Gary Wayne Stanley, Sr., and the late Jacqueline Armstrong Stanley.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Stanley, his father Gary (Dottie) Wayne Stanley Sr, three stepdaughters Shirley (Chris) Lowry, Melonie (Brandon) Brasher, and Christine (Chris) Rawls, a brother Clay Lewis, eight grandchildren Brendan Knight, Haylee Knight, Jacob King, Jackson Brasher, Olivia Willis, Carly Willis, and Bennett Basher.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Armstrong.
