Carroll County General Sessions
From the Aug 12, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (August 6) — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on August 6.
Two defendants were bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court.
Terry Brown, Henley Park Lane, Big Sandy, was bound over to the Grand Jury on charges of Forgery and Theft of Property.
Dwayne Patrick Jones, McDonald Avenue, McKenzie, was bound over on charges of Criminal Impersonation of Law Enforcement, Harassment, Meth-Manufacture, Deliver, Sell, or Possess with Intent, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The following cases resulted in a finding or plea of guilt.
Thomas R. Cannon, Little House Road, Camden, guilty, Theft of Merchandise-Shoplifting, $364.64 restitution to retailer, 48 hours jail, probation.
Jacquelyn Hornbuckle, Kirkwood Dr., Murray, Kentucky, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $750 fine, probation, alcohol and drug evaluation.
Michael Huff, Kirby Loop, Clarksburg, guilty, Allowing Dog to Run at Large, $50 fine, probation.
Dwayne Patrick Jones, McDonald Avenue, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail.
Larry Joe Prather, Jr., Highway 19, Brownsville, guilty, Flotation Device Required for Persons Aged 12 and Under.
Nicholas L. Rainey, Woodlawn Avenue, Huntingdon, guilty, Theft of Merchandise, $50 fine, probation, $191.09 restitution to retailer, no contact with retailer.
Lissa Wells, Woodlawn Avenue, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion, Theft of Merchandise, $191 restitution to retailer, no contact with retailer, probation.
Isiah G. Willis, Cheatham Street, Bruceton, guilty, Driving While Revoked, probation, must obtain license, $100 to Bruceton to replace road sign, $5,800 to replace utility pole.
The following cases were dismissed.
Marquis Anderson, Shaylin Loop, Antioch, Tenn., dismissed, Driving While Revoked.
Clinton Hoard, Randle Street, McKenzie, dismissed, Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct.
