From the Apr 1, 2025 e-EditionMr. Gerald Ray, 83, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Patriot Health and Rehabilitation Center in Paris, Tennessee.
Funeral services are 2:30 PM Monday, March 31, 2025 at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Palmersville, Tennessee. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Kylan Mann will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM and again at Old Bethel Baptist Church from Monday, March 31, 2025 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:30 PM.
Mr. Ray was born November 15, 1941 in Weakley County to the late Alvie Payne Ray and Estella Parham Ray.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ray of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one daughter, Jacqueline (Patrick) Powers of Dresden, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Michele (Hunter) Harcrow, Madison Powers, Thomas Thornton, Samuel Jaskolka, and Betsy Ann Thornton; two great-grandchildren, Walker Ray Harcrow and Stetson Harcrow.
