HMS Holds Spring Sports Banquet

 Huntingdon Middle School held its Spring Sports banquet Monday, May 12 at the cafeteria of the school. Athletes were honored for Girls basketball, boys basketball, Girls Volleyball, boys soccer, and baseball.

 Awards for girls basketball were Most Improved; Millie Luther, Most three-pointers made; Krystin Moore, Highest FT%; Courtland Brewer, Impact player; Lakeitha Cason, Most Blocks; Kaylee Eatman, MVP; Wylie Kee.

Boys basketball, Rookie of the Year; Darius Pratcher, Coach’s Award; Mykel Govan, Team Leader; Rush Sanders, Clutch Performer; Johns Nolen, Most Improved; Riley Ford, Defensive MVP; Kyle Byrd, Offensive MVP; Kingston Smith, MVP; William Boals.

Volleyball, Rookie of the Year; Emma Smith, Most Improved; Vivian Singleton, Defender Award; Wylie Kee, Server Award; Kylie Crossno, Coach’s Award; Apryl Reindl and Marcie Mitchell, Fillies Award; Harley Chandler, MVP; Millie Luther.

 Soccer, Goal Keeper Award; Braetan Sevarns, Offensive Player Award; Jake Harris, Defensive Player; Jasper Drinkard, Most Improved; Kingston Smith, MVP, Cody Partridge.

 Baseball, Slugger Award; William Boals, Hustle Award; Benton Norman, Clutch Award; Kyle Byrd, Ace Award ( pitcher ), Bryson Bolen, Defensive MVP; Johns Nolen, Offensive MVP, Rush Sanders, Special recognition given to Miles Cope. Teammates presented Miles with a glove in honor of his mother that passed away during season.
