Matthew Holt Earns Two Nominations for Dove Awards

NASHVILLE (July 30) — The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced on Wednesday the nominees for the 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards, which includes two nominations for McKenzie’s Matthew Holt.
Holt and Kevin Williams of Gaither Music produced two albums nominated for Southern Gospel Album of the Year: “Foundations: The Hymns of My Heart” by Chris Blue and “I’m Free: Songs That Wrote My Story” by Joseph Habedank.
The 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards, presented in partnership with the Cantinas Arts Foundation, are Tuesday, October 7 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The broadcast airs exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ App Friday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET and is simulcast on SiriusXM The Message. A re-broadcast will air on TBN and the TBN+ App Friday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
Holt said in a social media post, “Incredibly honored to be nominated for two Dove Awards this year as a producer! It is such an honor to make music with some of the very best! We are all very proud of these projects and can’t wait to see how God continues to use them for His glory! Thank you to all of those who support and believe in our music - we are grateful!”
Holt is the executive director of Bethel University’s Renaissance.
