Huntingdon Police Reports 9-8-26
Driving on Suspended License, Possession — Amanda G. Townsend was charged with Driving on a Suspended License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on August 12.
Officer Bo Ezell stopped the vehicle due to lack of registration plates.
A check of the driver's license revealed the suspended status and a consensual search located a crystal-like substance.
Shoplifting — Brenda F. Fuller was charged with Shoplifting on August 26.
Officer Jacob Dearman was dispatched to Walmart, where the loss prevention team reported a shoplifting who failed to pay for her merchandise. An investigation revealed multiple items valued at $150.88 were taken. She was cited into court.
Possession of Meth — Homer L. Willis was charged with Possession of Meth on August 16.
Sergeant Bo Ezell stopped Willis' vehicle because it did not have a side mirror. Willis granted permission to search the vehicle. The report indicates a container of residue that field tested for meth, fake urine, and a hand warmer were located. The warmers are commonly used to alter or falsify the results of drug screenings.
Driving on Suspended License -Third Offense — Christopher Freeman was charged with Driving on a Suspended License on August 22.
Officer Daniel Inman stopped a motorcycle driven by Freeman because the registration plate was not properly displayed. A check of Freeman's license revealed two prior charges of Driving on a Suspended License. Freeman was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.
Driving on Revoked License — Loretta Williams was charged with Driving on a Revoked License and Violation of Light Law on August 22.
Officer Daniel Inman stopped Williams' vehicle for inoperable brake lights. A check of her license revealed the revoked status. She was cited into General Sessions Court.
Criminal Trespass — Kiowa P. Geans was charged with Criminal Trespass on August 20.
Officer Ethan Parham and Patrolman Dearman responded to a complaint about a subject entering a vacant residence. Surveillance cameras revealed it was Geans who entered the residence. Patrolman Ezell arrested Geans later that day.
