Huntingdon Sweeps Riverside in District Volleyball

HUNTINGDON — The Huntingdon Mustangs continued their strong start to the 2026 volleyball season Tuesday, September 8, sweeping Decatur County Riverside 3-0 in a district matchup.
Huntingdon controlled the match from the opening set, taking the first 25-12. The Mustangs continued their momentum in the second set, winning 25-13, before closing out the match with a 25-11 victory in the third set.
The win extended Huntingdon’s winning streak to seven matches and improved the Mustangs to 8-1 on the season. Riverside entered the match unbeaten but fell to 3-1 with the loss.
The two teams are scheduled to meet again September 29 at Riverside in Decaturville.
