From the Jan 7, 2025 e-EditionHENRY, Tenn. - Funeral services for Janice Carol Harrison were Friday, December 27, 2024, at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment was at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Henry.
Ms. Harrison, 71, died Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a Henry First Baptist Church member and a retired bank teller for Bank of Gleason, McKenzie Branch. She was born in Henry Co., Tenn. on February 4, 1953, to Ardie and Eller Ray Rayburn Harrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Jackson and her husband, Dusty of Henry, a son, Jason Lyles of Hornsby, Tenn., a brother, Jerry Harrison of Plant City, Florida, four sisters, Evelyn Gilliam, Faye Cook, Catherine Gibson and her husband, Junior, and Wanda Travis and her husband, Barry, all of McKenzie and two grandchildren, Jacob Jackson and Emberly Lyles.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ruth Toombs.
