From the Nov 18, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. — Mr. Jimmy “Jersey” White, 78, of McKenzie, Tennessee, died Saturday, November 15, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Long Rock Cemetery. Brother Clint Ezell and Carl Byars officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Mr. White was born January 22, 1947, to the late Leonard Ray White and Dorothy May Rumley White. Preceded in death by his 1st wife, Sandra Joan White Hones. He attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Sellers of Milan, Tennessee; two sons, Josh (Melanie) White of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Hayden White of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Sandra (Rickey) Wilson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother, Jerry (Brenda) White of Huntingdon, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Kayla White (Mac) Cooley, Allison Sellers (Billy) Johnson, Chesney White (Caleb) Walker, Ethan (Reese) Sellers and Erin White; and two great-grandchildren, Charley Joan Walker and Cannon Cooley.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jeff White, Timmy White, Clint Wilson, Ethan Sellers, Mac Cooley, Caleb Walker and Billy Johnson.
Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 731-986-8281.
