HUNTINGDON — Mrs. Joan Williams, 87, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 28, 2026, at The Waters of McKenzie.

Funeral services are on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Carrigan officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Clay Cunningham, Dillon Burden, Chris McCaslin, Dustin Kendall, Eric Moody and Matt Moody.

Mrs. Williams was born May 27, 1939, in Nashville, Tennessee. She retired from Carroll County Property Assessor's Office as first deputy and was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Vickers, Sr. and Ovie Elizabeth Dill Vickers; her husband, Thomas Dewey Williams; a son, Jeffrey Brian Williams; a sister Aline Moody; and a brother, Ernest “Pug” Vickers Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Cunningham (Mark) of Huntingdon, Lezlie Burden (David), of Paris, a son, Dan Williams, of Bucksnort, four grandchildren, Nikki McCaslin (Chris), Clay Cunningham (Nikki), Dillon Burden, Grace Kendall (Dustin), and eight great-grandchildren, Marilyn Cunningham, Lincoln Cunningham, John Cunningham, Pippin Cunningham, Pax Cunningham, Beckett McCaslin, Evan Burden, and Mayer Kendall.
