From the Mar 18, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Kay Nolen Ward, 83, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services are Monday, March 10, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Mrs. Ward was born August 21, 1941, in Carroll County, to the late William Edward and Viola Boyd Nolen. She retired as an insurance agent with Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ward, and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Stan Lee (Benita) of Hollow Rock, one grandchild, Ethan Lee of Huntingdon, and two great-grandchildren, Emerson and Elsie Lee.
