Funeral services for Laura Lee are Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Lee, 79, died at her residence surrounded by her family on August 31, 2024. She was born in Greenfield, Tenn. on December 17, 1944, to Brooks and Pauline Drewery Smith. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Frazier and Trina (Johnny) Clifton all of Big Sandy, three sisters, Pearlie Burke of Bradford, Betty Dunning of Greenfield and Pam (Ronnie) Parks of Milan, grandchildren, David (Brooklyn) Mingle, Jr, Crystal (Justin) Thomas, Jessica Mingle, Michael (Rachel) Lee, James Lee, Karen (Ricky) Morris, Carol Baker and Cindy (Barry) Mattland and 15 great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Lee, daughter, Tina Nelson and son. Tony Rimmer.
