HUNTINGDON — Mrs. Lisa Jean Fields, 56, born May 28, 1969, in Huntingdon, died at her home on May 7, 2026.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Brother Clint Ezell and Susan Breeden officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM.
She was united in marriage to Jason Fields on June 23, 1987, and together they shared a lifelong bond built on love and family.
Lisa was a devoted mother to her three children: Morgan (Joseph) Morrissett of Lonoke, Arkansas, Seth (Julie) Fields of Ramer, Tennessee and Blane Fields of Huntingdon, Tennessee.
Her grandchildren were the joy of her life: Romie Morrissett, Rhett Morrissett, Rookie Morrissett, Jed Fields, and Clara Jane Fields. She treasured every moment spent with them and lit up when sharing with her friends about them.
She is also survived by her mother, Jean (Phil) Doyle of Henry, Tennessee, and one sister, Amy (Nick) Oatsvall of Henry, Tenn.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, David Kirksey; one brother, Chris Kirksey; and her grandmother, Alice Kirksey.
After graduating from UT Martin, Lisa began her nursing career in 1989 and faithfully dedicated her life to caring for others at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was known for her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to both her patients and coworkers. Nursing was not simply her profession, but her calling, and she carried it out with grace, strength, and a servant’s heart throughout her life.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her caring spirit, strength, sweet treats, and the endless love she gave to her family and friends.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Joseph Morrissett, Jeff Carter, Marty Towater, Jamie Towater, John Sanders, and Tommy Decanter.
