From the Aug 18, 2026 e-EditionHOLLOW ROCK, Tenn. - Mrs. Marie Parsons, 68, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee, died Friday, August 14, 2026, at Unity Healthcare Center in Martin.
Funeral services are Monday, August 17, 2026, at noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Martin officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Parsons was born July 24, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late L.B. Martin and Goldie Clark Martin. She was a seamstress and a member of Tates Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Parsons, a brother, Lynn Martin, and a grandchild, Kimber Morgan.
She is survived by two daughters, Tosha Stubblefield of Hollow Rock, Stephanie Steele (Joshua) of Paris; a son, Ancel Morgan (Angela) of Cottage Grove; a sister, Rebecca Brotherton, of Bruceton; three brothers, James Martin, of Paris, Larry Martin, of Bruceton, Alan Martin (Dawn) of Huntingdon. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Marie, Cameron, Aaron, Jacob, Brooklyn, April, and Tristian, and one great-grandchild, Nicole. Chase Funeral Home.
