From the Apr 7, 2026 e-EditionHUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Mrs. Mary “May” Margaret Wilson, 74 , of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM Tuesday April 7, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother Johnny Drinkard officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Mae was born July 22, 1951, in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Wilbert Herndon and Mildred Herndon. Preceded in death by a brother, Teddy Herndon; a sister, Loretta Herndon, and a great-niece, Bianca LeAnn Conroy.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson; six sisters, Martha Ann Lowe, Shirley Jane (Michael) Reed, Delores Sue Green, Mildred Kay Willis, Nadine Herndon and Tena Melissa Hicks; niece/godchild, Tina K. Willis; niece, Christina Drinkard; two nephews, Thomas Hicks and Thomas Green.
