From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Mary Winchester Kleet were Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment was at Prospect Cemetery, Hollow Rock, Tenn.
Mrs. Kleet, 92, died Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence. She is one of the oldest members of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and a retired seamstress for H.I.S. She was born in Henry Co., Tenn. to Fonzo and Clara Myers Winchester.
She is survived by her sister, Reba (Ricky) Christopher of Adamsville, a sister-in-law, Kathy Winchester of McKenzie, two brothers, James (Kay) Winchester of Memphis, and Jimmy (Janet) Winchester of McKenzie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth “Sonny” Kleet, three sisters, Josie Purvis, Clara Kesterson, and Rebecca Winchester, and three brothers, Roy Alford Winchester, Walter Winchester, and Douglas Winchester.
