McKenzie Hometown Christmas Schedule

McKenzie Hometown Christmas starts Thursday, December 4, kicking off four packed days of holiday events throughout the city of McKenzie.

Thursday, December 4
Carroll Arts presents “A Mistletoe Christmas” at the Park Theatre beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Friday, December 5
McKenzie’s Mistletoe Market is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market at 2431 Cedar Street. Admission is free.

Bethel University presents Christmas with Renaissance Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Bouldin Auditorium in the Dickey Fine Arts Building, located at 71 Bethel Court #25.

Saturday, December 6
Breakfast with Santa, presented by Beta Sigma Phi, is from 8-11 a.m. at The Depot, located at 85 E. Bruce Street. Ticket prices vary at the door.

McKenzie’s Mistletoe Market continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market. Admission is free.

The Happy Book Stack hosts Gingerbread House Decorating from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

McKenzie City Florist hosts Ornament Making from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Each ornament is $5.

Bethel University presents Christmas with Renaissance Saturday at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Bouldin Auditorium in the Dickey Fine Arts Building, located at 71 Bethel Court #25.

The City of McKenzie’s Christmas Parade is Saturday at 4 p.m. in downtown McKenzie. Mrs. Daisy Dudley is this year’s grand marshal.

The City of McKenzie hosts the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at 5 p.m. at Veteran’s Park, featuring a performance by McKenzie Elementary School’s Rebel Singers.

The Happy Book Stack hosts Sweets and Stories with Santa from 6:30-8 p.m. Hot cocoa and cookies are $5.

Sunday, December 7
The Happy Book Stacks hosts the book launch of Jennifer Glass’ memoir “Little Miss McKenzie” at 2 p.m.

Bethel University presents Christmas with Renaissance Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bouldin Auditorium in the Dickey Fine Arts Building, located at 71 Bethel Court #25.
