From the Jun 23, 2026 e-EditionTheft of Merchandise — Jody Nicole Neisler, Main Street, McKenzie, was charged with Theft of Merchandise on June 19.
Officers Dillon and Raspberry responded to Dollar General, Highway 22, to a report of a shoplifter. The officers spoke with Neisler in the store’s parking lot and discovered two items of merchandise in her purse. She was issued a citation to appear in Henry County General Sessions and also a ban notice from the store.
Vandalism — A resident of Magnolia Avenue West reported his residence was illegally entered and vandalized on June 21.
Officer Jayden Rembert filed a report indicating the resident found the door was broken and the contents of the house were ‘trashed’. Nothing appeared to be stolen. The matter is under investigation.
