McPhersons Return to Thank First Responders and Health Care Teams

Tim and Tiffany McPherson were severely burned in their TNT Taco food truck. They returned to Baptist Hospital-Carroll County to thank the first responders and hospital staff who provided their care.

HUNTINGDON (August 24) — Tim and Tiffany McPherson, who were injured when their TNT Tacos food truck exploded in Huntingdon earlier this summer, returned to Baptist Memorial Hospital – Carroll County on Monday to thank many of the first responders and health care professionals who helped care for them following the accident.

The McPhersons had an opportunity to reconnect with the representatives from several of the teams involved in their care and share their gratitude for the response they received that day.

Their visit coincided with a burn care in-service at the hospital presented by TriStar Skyline Medical Center’s Burn Center and coordinated with Hospital Wing.

The gathering brought together first responders and health care professionals from across the area.

“It was a really meaningful morning and a great reminder of the teamwork that takes place across our community when someone needs emergency care,” said Sarah Pitcher, marketing manager at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Carroll County.
