MHS Alumni Announces Reunion Schedule

McKENZIE — The McKenzie High School Alumni released a schedule of events for the Decades Reunion on September 24-26.

Thursday, September 24

4-8 p.m.: McKenzie High School Historical Exhibit and Open House, Gordon Browning Museum, 640 N. Main St. (Exhibit on display from August 19-October 3. Regular hours Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Friday, September 25

8 a.m.: MHSAA Golf Tournament, Carroll Lake Golf Club. Contact Brian Winston at Carroll Bank and Trust (731-352-2282) to enter.

9 a.m.-5 p.m.: McKenzie High School Historical Exhibit, Gordon Browning Museum, 640 N. Main St.

12:30 p.m.: MHS Homecoming Parade-Downtown McKenzie

2 p.m.: “Homecoming ‘86” 40th Anniversary Commemorative Video, Park Theatre, 2312 Cedar St., Courtesy of the Carroll County Historical Society. Free Admission/Donations Appreciated.

5 p.m.: McKenzie High School Alumni Tailgate Party, inside Rebel Stadium. Admission $7 (includes homecoming football game at 7 p.m.) Food trucks available. ALL McKenzie High School alumni, faculty/staff, and families are invited!

Saturday, September 26

9-11:30 a.m.: McKenzie High School Alumni of the 1950s and ‘60s Reunion, McKenzie Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 16 N. McTyeire St.

9 a.m.-6 p.m.: McKenzie High School Historical Exhibit, Gordon Browning Museum, 640 N. Main St.

3 p.m.: Round Table Discussion celebrating the 2006 McKenzie Rebel state baseball championship 20th anniversary, Park Theatre, 2312 Cedar St.

6 p.m.: Live Music at Hometown Hangout, 14985 Highland Dr.

Ten McKenzie High classes will hold reunions throughout the weekend: 1966, 1971, 1976, 1979, 1986, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2010, 2016.
