McKenzie Baseball Defeats Westview, Stewart County

McKenzie Rebels baseball earned a 9-2 victory over Martin-Westview Chargers on Thursday, April 4 and a 5-1 victory over Stewart County Rebels on Friday, April 5.
At McKenzie against the Chargers, McKenzie had nine runs on 15 hits with 32 at-bats. Jake Cassidy was the winning pitcher.
Tate Surber scored 2 runs, Cassidy had 3, Lelan Gordon had 1, Gage Crosland 1, and KD Cunningham had 1.
Westview’s runs were scored by Cooper Spaulding and Thomas Myers with one each.
At Stewart County, the McKenzie Rebels had 25 at-bats with 5 runs. Tate Surber had 2 tuns, Cole Brown 1, KD Cunningham 1 and Avery Brown 1.
Stewarft County Rebels had 26 at-bats and 1 run. Ben Hendricks made the lone score.
Hayden Garrett was the winning pitcher.
