MHS Volleyball Defeats JCM, 3-0

McKENZIE (August 20) — The McKenzie High School volleyball team continued its dominant start to the season with a commanding performance against JCM on Wednesday, August 20. Both the varsity and junior varsity squads secured decisive victories, showcasing strong teamwork and impressive individual efforts across the court.
The Lady Rebels varsity squad cruised to a 3-0 sweep, maintaining their undefeated 3-0 record. McKenzie controlled the pace of the match from start to finish, winning sets by scores of 25-14, 25-9, and 25-12.
Kynadie Brown led the way with a stellar performance, racking up 12 aces and 9 assists.
Jaycee Stafford was a force at the service line and the net, recording 9 aces and 5 kills.
Charlie Cassidy added to the offensive production with 5 kills and 4 digs.
Addison Milam contributed 4 kills, 4 aces, and a block.
Braylin Auvenshine chipped in with 4 kills and 2 assists.
The junior varsity team matched the varsity’s energy, securing a clean 2-0 victory. The young Rebels displayed depth and versatility throughout the match.
Standout performances for the JV squad included:
Serenity Bobo led the team with 6 aces and 3 kills.
Kynlee Barden proved lethal from the service line with 6 aces.
Abby Carroll orchestrated the offense with 7 assists and contributed 5 aces.
Willow Stenberg added 5 aces and 2 kills.
The Rebels look to carry this momentum into their upcoming matches, building on the balanced and aggressive play that defined this Wednesday night sweep.
