Middle School Students Learn About Careers

McKENZIE — McKenzie Middle School conducted a career fair on Friday, November 22 to give middle school students a glimpse of career opportunities in the area.
Area industries, bankers, police, TWRA, utility companies, TCAT, educators, colleges, and medical people set up booths to provide information about possibilities for their future employment.
More and more, schools are encouraging students to learn about career choices in middle school so they can establish their educational path in high school.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items. The setting at Paris Landing State Park provides visitors with great views while shopping. There will also be food and beverage vendors, as well as a petting zoo. Admission and parking are free.
