McKenzie Middle School Football Jamboree is Saturday
From the Jul 30, 2024 e-EditionMcKenzie Middle School hosts its annual football jamboree Saturday, August 3 at Rebel Stadium at 4 p.m.
Eighteen teams will compete in a total of ten contests.
In each of five time slots, two games will take place concurrently on either half of the field.
Teams play 18 minutes of running clock with offenses starting at the 40 yard line with regular four-down rules. There are no kicks and no returns on turnovers.
At 4 p.m., Murray faces Waverly while McKenzie JV plays Lake County JV.
At 4:45 p.m. McEwen and West Carroll compete while McKenzie and Lake County play.
At 5:30 p.m., Milan meets Henderson North while Stewart County and Greenfield match up.
At 6:15 p.m., Dresden battles Lexington and Decatur faces Inman.
At 7 p.m., Camden and Gibson County play as Martin and Huntingdon compete.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items. The setting at Paris Landing State Park provides visitors with great views while shopping. There will also be food and beverage vendors, as well as a petting zoo. Admission and parking are free.
