Mustangs Blanks Eagles, 11-0
From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionJACKSON (April 16) — Jackson Christian School baseball hosted Huntingdon Thursday, and the visiting Mustangs dominated the Eagles for an 11-0 shutout in five innings.
Huntingdon scored three runs in the top of the first, two in the second and six in the third.
Mustang Hayes Eubanks was 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored. Kenton Smith was 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored. Broox Bennett was 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Silas Sharp was 1-for-1 with two walks, an RBI and two runs scored. Kainan Moore was 1-for-1 with two runs scored. Braylin Dearmon was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored. Caleb Ezell was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Colt Wood was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Cy Hankins was 0-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored.
Eagle Miles Wilson was 1-for-1 with a double. Matthew Melton was 2-for-3.
Owen Kreuziger earned the win for Huntingdon, allowing no runs on one hit while walking one and striking out one in three innings. Hayden Strop pitched the final two frames, allowing no runs on two hits with two walks.
Max Collins took the loss for Jackson Christian, allowing 11 runs (five earned) on seven hits while walking two and striking out three in two and two-thirds innings. Micah Hunt pitched the final two and a third innings, allowing no runs on three hits while walking three and striking out one.
