MARTIN (June 30) — Suzanne’s Pharmacy in Martin has joined the Phipps Pharmacy family, the West Tennessee-based chain announced on June 30. Despite a change in name, Suzanne’s will continue its strong tradition of hometown service while expanding access to the clinical care, convenience and patient-focused programs Phipps Pharmacy is known for across Tennessee.
McKenzie’s Dr. Jay Phipps, president and CEO of Phipps Pharmacy, said the acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to serve the Martin community while honoring the legacy Suzanne’s Pharmacy has built with its patients.
“Phipps Pharmacy is excited to welcome the patients and the entire team of Suzanne’s Pharmacy into the Phipps Pharmacy family,” said Dr. Phipps. “We have tremendous respect for the relationships this pharmacy has built in Martin, and our goal is to continue that trusted hometown care while bringing additional services, support and innovation to the community.”
Phipps Pharmacy has served West Tennessee for more than 25 years and is known for combining traditional community pharmacy values with expanded healthcare services. In addition to prescription services, Phipps Pharmacy offers programs such as medication synchronization, compliance packaging through PhippsPack, immunizations, clinical testing, medication consultations, wellness services and personalized patient care.
Patients of Suzanne’s Pharmacy can expect a smooth transition with continued commitment to personal service, trusted pharmacy care and convenient access to medications, Phipps Pharmacy assured.
“We believe independent pharmacy is about more than filling prescriptions,” said Dr. Phipps. “It is about relationships, trust, accessibility and being there for people when they need care. That is exactly what we plan to continue in Martin.”
Phipps Pharmacy serves patients throughout Middle and West Tennessee and remains committed to strengthening access to locally owned, community-based healthcare.
Phipps Pharmacy is an independently-owned community pharmacy group with locations in Huntingdon, Jackson, Martin, McKenzie and Waverly, Tenn. Founded on a commitment to personal service, clinical care and community involvement, Phipps Pharmacy provides prescription services, medication packaging, delivery options, immunizations, clinical testing, wellness services and patient-centered pharmacy care.
