Ray McDaniel

Mr. Ray McDaniel, 88, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Cherrywood Post Acute in McKenzie.

Funeral Services were Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Interment was at Concord Cemetery in Huntingdon, Tennessee. Brother Josh Parker and Brother Jeff Bryant officiating.

Ray was born September 24, 1937, to the late Zelmer McDaniel and Hattie McDaniel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Willie Powers, Juanita Frantz, Pearl Davis, and Edna Faye Blankenship; and one brother, Ted McDaniel.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patsy McDaniel; one daughter, Teresa (Russell) Tucker; one son, Stanley (Dione) McDaniel; four grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Tucker, Melissa (Bryan) Moffitt, Seth (Brooke) McDaniel and Ryan (Rachel) McDaniel; seven great-grandchildren, Hannah Tucker, Brookelyn Baker, Makinley Moffitt, Ryver Moffitt, Whitley Moffitt, Blaze McDaniel and Della McDaniel.

Ray was a proud member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Matthew Tucker, Seth McDaniel, Ryan McDaniel,  Bryan Moffitt, Mark McDaniel and Harlon Kirby.

Donations may be made to Concord Cemetery in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
