Rebels Retain Top Spot in TSWA Poll
From the Sep 10, 2024 e-EditionNASHVILLE (September 9) — The Tennessee Sports Writers Association announced football rankings after Week 3 on Monday, with the poll presented by CoachT.com.
McKenzie retains the top spot in Class 1A for the third straight week with 209 points, including 20 out of 21 first place votes. West Carroll earned one tenth-place vote for one point in the poll.
Huntingdon, despite a convincing win Friday, slipped another spot to number nine in Class 2A.
The top ten teams in each classification were selected by TSWA members with first-place votes in parentheses and total points, based on ten points for a first-place vote through one point for a tenth-place vote.
