Rebels Top Tornadoes 3-1, Advance to Championship
From the May 13, 2025 e-EditionMARTIN (May 5) — The McKenzie High School Rebels traveled Monday to face Union City in a District 12A Soccer semifinal and claimed a 3-1 win to advance to Wednesday's championship game.
The win also guarantees McKenzie a region tournament appearance.
Rebels Guillermo Hickman, Alex Garcia and Morgan Christman each scored a goal.
McKenzie goalkeeper Nate Dameron had five saves in the win.

McKENZIE (July 31) — McKenzie High School hosted Obion County Central Friday evening for an all-Rebel scrimmage at the MHS practice field. The host Rebels looked strong on both sides of the ball, especially during the varsity portion of the contest.
