From the Jul 8, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Rhonda Bomar are Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, with Brother Tim Roger officiating.
Mrs. Bomar, 67, died at her residence on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
She was born in Milan, Tenn. on March 30, 1958, to Warren E. and Nadine Hicks Wilson. She retired from Walmart as a Pharmacy Tech.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Bomar, two daughters, Reba (Roger) Birdwell and Rachel Austin, two sons, Sean (Lauren) Bomar and Damon Bomar, three sisters, Betty (Randy) Webb, Linda (Larry) Cherry and Mary Ann (Gene) Grimes, seven grandchildren, Micah Austin, Elijah Edmonson, River Birdwell, Dylan Bomar, S.J. Bomar, Brittany (Andrew) Wainscott and Chase Birdwell and two great-grandchildren, Skyy Austin and Landon Blackwell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shelia Holbrook, and three brothers, Wayne Wilson, Billy Joe Wilson, and Jerry Wilson.
