Roger Lee Hudson

GLEASON, Tenn. — Funeral services for Roger Lee Hudson are on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday at the church at 11:00 a.m. until service time. There is a Masonic Service at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Following the funeral service, interment is at Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason.

 Mr. Hudson, 78 years old, died at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

He retired from Goodyear, owned Hudson Small Engine Repair, and was a member of Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served in the National Guard, the US Marines, and was a member of the Gleason Masonic Lodge, The American Legion and a VFW Life Member.

 His children survive him, Jill (Doug) Scott of Paris, Trent (Sherrye) Hudson of Gleason, a brother Steve (Sylvia) Hudson of Lincoln, NB;  six grandchildren, Jacob (Courtney) Hudson, Ellen (Tommy) Clark, Matthew (Kelsey) Hudson, Michael (Stormie) Hudson Alyssa Hudson and Hansford Scott and five great-grandchildren Nick, Eva, Viola, Reagan and Parker.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Billie Sue Ozment Hudson, and his sister, Kay Bohmont.
