From the Oct 28, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Rosemary Williams Maddox, 76, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Sellers Hill Cemetery with Bro. Dan Winkler officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Huntingdon Church of Christ or a charity of your choice.
Pallbearers to serve are: Bert Brown, Lee Butler, Joey Darnell, Jimmy Hampton, Jerry Nolen, and Bud Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Brian Kelley, Gary Pinner, Jimmy Pinson, Dr. Scotty Portis, & Dr. Hugh Scarbrough.
The family will receive friends at Huntingdon Church of Christ on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
Mrs. Maddox was born August 13, 1949 in Huntingdon to the late Hagood Franklin Williams and Frances Nell (Flake) Williams. She was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Leonard “Bill” Maddox
She is survived by one daughter, Monica Maddox, two sons, Derrick Maddox and Devin Maddox (wife Becky) all of Bartlett, and a sister, Virginia Brown of Bartlett. She also leaves two grandchildren: Annabeth & Benjamin Maddox.
