McKenzie Rotary Discusses Carroll County Rescue Squad: Service, Professionalism

McKENZIE (October 13) — For nearly six decades, the Carroll County Rescue Squad has public safety, evolving from a grassroots response to a tragic 1968 drowning into a sophisticated, professional organization. Now under the leadership of Captain Curt Taylor, who took the helm in 2018, the squad has grown from a seven-member team to a force of 38 volunteers, dedicated to serving the community through specialized training and deep compassion for service.
