McKenzie Seniors Host Bikini Car Wash
From the Jul 1, 2025 e-Edition
McKENZIE (June 28) — Members of the McKenzie Senior Center turned some heads on Saturday when they hosted a bikini car wash at the Center on South Main Street. For fun, the group had t-shirts imprinted with bikinis as they washed cars for a price of $5 each.
Also trying to be creative, the new leadership at The Center is always looking for ways to have fun and experiences together. This week, they are crossing the Tennessee River/Kentucky Lake on a ferry and dining at a Dover, Tenn. restaurant.
Regular events at The Center include: Exercise class weekdays at 9 a.m.; Billiards every day, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Canasta every Monday and Friday afternoon 12:30 p.m.; Line Dance class every Monday and the first and third Wednesdays at 6 p.m.; Every Tuesday — Jam session with Steve Morris, 6 p.m. Open to the public.; Dominoes every Wednesday and Saturday, 12:30 p.m.; Game Day every Sunday at 3 p.m.
For more information about The Center, just visit them on South Main Street next to E.W. James Supermarket.
