Shawn Christopher Ruble

McKENZIE, Tenn. -       Funeral services for Shawn Christopher Ruble are Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 5 p.m. -7 p.m. and Tuesday, 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, McKenzie.

Mr. Ruble, 26, died at his residence on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina on September 24, 1997. He worked at Sweet Jordan's and wondered why everyone doesn’t love their jobs like he did. He loved everyone he met, his animals and was Taylor Swift’s biggest fan. He enjoyed video games, was an avid bowler, participated in half marathons and many Spartan races.

He is survived by his parents, Brian and Dawn Hayes of McKenzie, a brother, Bradley (Emily) Ruble of McKenzie, a sister, Brittney (Matthew) Peton of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, a niece, Abigail Peton, maternal grandfather, Earl McDougal of Big Sandy, paternal grandparents, Harlan and Rita Hayes of Niles, Ohio and an uncle, Shawn McDougal of Jefferson, Pennsylvania.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmothers, Elaine McDougal and Glenna McDougal.
