From the Feb 25, 2025 e-EditionSELMER, Tenn. - Graveside funeral services for Shawn Travis Jones aree Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason, Tenn. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow. Brother Kenny Carr is the officiant and pallbearers to serve are Paul Klutts, Jeremy Leyhue, Robert Harrison, Bill Mayberry, Jonathan Stanton and Jason Mize.
Mr. Jones, 51, died on February 23, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. He was born on July 30, 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Elam Jones, mother, Lois Jones, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Coy Goodrum Elam and Danny Elam and special friends, Paul Klutts and Jeremy Leyhue.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Jones and brother, Shannon Jones.
