Single Vehicle Accident Barely Misses Commercial Buildings

The pickup truck came to rest just short of a large ditch.

HUNTINGDON (August 2) — A single-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck exited Main Street in Huntingdon, destroyed part of the decorative fencing at Thomas Park and proceeded past Joe’s Barbecue sign, scattering rocks along the business’ parking lot and neighboring parking lots before going down a ravine, stopping short of a stream.

Huntingdon Police and Fire departments, Carroll County Rescue Squad and Baptist EMS arrived on the scene during this Sunday morning accident.

The driver was safely removed from the truck and moved to an ambulance and then transported to Baptist Hospital-Carroll County.
