From the Jul 22, 2025 e-EditionYUMA, Tenn. - Mrs. Sue Hollowell, 86, of Yuma, died Sunday, July 13, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services were on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Maness and Bro. Ryne Bivens officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers who will serve are Michael Todd, Ricky Pritchard, Jason Yundt, Jared Mitchell, Jacob Todd, Jared Dunbar, Taylor Douglas, and Lynn Breeden.
Mrs. Hollowell was born March 25, 1939, in Yuma, to the late James Franklin Gooch and Cleo Hopper Gooch. She was a special education assistant at Clarksburg School and a member of Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hollowell, who passed in January of 2025, a daughter, Regina Pritchard, and a brother, Billy Gooch.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Todd (Michael) of Yuma, a sister, June Murphy of Clarksburg, a special cousin, Marcia Wooley, son-in-law, Ricky Pritchard, and two sisters-in-law, Martha Gooch and Mary Cowan. She also leaves six grandchildren, Carter Todd (Trish), Carrie Yundt (Jason), Julie Dunbar (Jared), Jessica Todd (Jacob), Jamie Mitchell (Jared), Caitlan Todd (Taylor), and ten great grandchildren, Leo, Christian, Ian, Colin, Lottie, Holden, Jemma, Drake, Jaycee, and Mackenzie.
