THE FRONTMEN MAKE THEIR DIXIE DEBUT - SAT, AUGUST 1
From the May 5, 2026 e-Edition
HUNTINGDON — The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center is proud to welcome country music supergroup The Frontmen for an unforgettable night of hits on Saturday, August 1, at 7:30 PM.
With a combined 30 No. 1 hits and more than 30 million albums sold, The Frontmen deliver the soundtrack to decades of Friday night honky-tonks, first dances, and heartbreak anthems. Featuring three of country music’s most recognizable voices - Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar), Larry Stewart (of Restless Heart), and Tim Rushlow (formerly of Little Texas) - the trio brings a powerhouse performance packed with nostalgia, harmony, and fresh new music.
Audiences can expect a high-energy, sing-along experience featuring iconic hits like “Amazed,” “The Bluest Eyes in Texas,” and “God Blessed Texas,” alongside original songs from their 2024 self-titled debut album. Their live show blends the spirit of classic country with the dynamic chemistry of three seasoned frontmen sharing the spotlight.
“The thing about the three of us is we are better together than each of us was by ourselves,” said McDonald. “People can sit there for two hours and realize they sang along with every single song.”
Rushlow adds, “There is a common thread that runs through the songs we’ve all recorded over the years that just fits like a glove. It’s powerful - and it’s the soundtrack to so many lives.”
Drawing comparisons to legendary multi-vocalist bands like The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, The Frontmen combine distinct musical legacies into one cohesive, crowd-pleasing experience. Each artist takes turns leading, while all three deliver rich harmonies that elevate every moment of the performance.
Individually, Stewart, Rushlow, and McDonald helped define country music across three decades. From Restless Heart’s eight chart-topping hits and ACM Top Vocal Group honors, to Little Texas’ string of fan favorites and award-winning success, to Lonestar’s nine No. 1 singles - including the crossover smash “Amazed” - their collective impact is undeniable.
Now united as The Frontmen, they continue to captivate audiences nationwide, bringing both their legendary catalogs and new material to stages across the country.
Presale tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, April 29 at 10A CT. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, May 4 at 10A CT. Tickets will be available for purchase at DixiePAC.net and through The Dixie’s box office, M-F, 10-4P, 731.986.2100.
